Dr. Shiloh originally planned on becoming an architect before deciding to pursue a career in dentistry in his senior year of college. While playing in a soccer game, he took an elbow to the face while going for a header and had his tooth knocked out. He ended up needing a dental implant and was so fascinated with the process that he chose to completely change his plans to work towards a dental profession. Later, he decided to specialize in orthodontics because it truly combined art and science, allowed him to give patients confidence in their smiles, and the fact that most patients want to achieve their best results. For him, every day as an orthodontist is like solving a puzzle, and there’s always something new!
Dr. Shiloh attended dental school at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, where he developed a love for orthodontics. He went on to complete his residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Marquette University. A year later, he became a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Today, he remains dedicated to pursuing continuing education to refine his skills and expand his expertise.
Whenever he isn’t at the office helping patients straighten their smiles, Dr. Shiloh loves spending time with his wife, two kids, and their two dogs. His hobbies involve trying new restaurants, staying active, playing golf, and watching his favorite team, the Chicago Bulls!
